Pecos put up a fight, but lost to No. 2 Santa Rosa, 61-58, in the quarterfinals. So instead of an All-North semifinal matchup with Mesa Vista, the Trojans will try to break the hex that the Lions have over them. Santa Rosa beat the Trojans in the AA quarters last year and again in the Tularosa tournament in December.
