The fourth-seeded Mora Rangerettes were upset by No. 5 Lordsburg Lady Mavericks 70-66 in the opening AA quarterfinal in the Santa Ana Star Center. Lordsburg moves on to the AA semifinals, where it face the winner between No. 1 Texico and No. 8 Peñasco, which starts at 3 p.m.
Mora, the District 4AA champion, finishes its season at 22-7.
