New offense grounded ...

A new offense sprouted in California in 2007. It took advantage of a loop hole in football rules to use players without linemen numbers (between 50-79), meaning everybody on the field could be an eligible receiver. Not that all of them were eligible receivers, but any of them could be one of the five eligible to catch the football.
Well, such innovation was met with disdain by some coaches, and the National Federation of State High School Associations put the kabosh to the offense - called the A-11 offense.
If you would like to see how this offense worked, YouTube is full of videos of it. You can also do the same by clicking on the highlighted link.
