St. Michael's wrestlers just completed the semifinal round by going an astounding 11-for-11 in their matchups. That means 11 Horsemen will battle for an individual state title and - barring an 11-for-11 collapse - the Horsemen are close to closing out their first state title since 1976.
Head coach Pat Aranda called it perhaps one of the most phenomenal performances he has ever seen.
"They showed up this morning," Aranda said. "Eleven of them (in the championship bracket) said they were going to stay and the other three on the back side (consolation), they're going to be in it and they all want to medal."
