Class A-AAA
103 pounds - Matthew Torres beats St. Michael's Anthony Bernal 2-0. First individual state champion for Pecos.
112 - St. Michael's Adrian Montoya beats Las Vegas Robertson's Charlie Armijo 9-5. It is Montoya's first title.
119 - Cobre's Daniel Udero beat Joaquin Garcia of St. Michael's 3-1.
125 - Eighth grader Koery Windham becomes the second Horsemen to win a title in a 4-3 win in double overtime.
130 - Matthew Cantu keeps the St. Michael's train rolling with a 10-7 win over Pecos' Jonathan Torres.
135 - Xavier De La Torre from Cobre beats Horsemen Dominic Sanchez 6-3.
140 - Ethan Rivera of Cobre beats St. Michael's Ish Romero 6-4.
145 - Jess Martinez of St. Michael's repeats as 145 champion, beating Robertson's Troy Estrada 4-1.
152 - Daniel Martinez makes it four straight state title with a dominating 9-2 win over Conrad Mares from West Las Vegas
160 - Dominic Duran of Cobre beat out Doug Pacheco-Myers for the crown, 4-3.
171 - Estevan Vigil ends his wrestling career with a state title, beating John Dockter of Bloomfield, 4-1.
189 - Mike Aranda is a two-time state champion by pinning Newcomb's Dallan Yazzie with :59 to go.
215 - Mike Lamb ends the Horsemen domination with a pin of Manuel Silva of West Las Vegas with :02 left in the second period.
Class AAAA
145 - Mariano Montoya ends his Espanola Valley career with a 42-0 record by beating Del Norte's Deion Medina 8-4.
Class AAAAA
160 - Santa Fe High ends its stay in AAAAA with a state champion in Daniel Salvridez, who pins La Cueva's Marcus Baca in the second period.
